Sweden has kept most schools, restaurants and businesses open during the pandemic. While the death toll is on the decline, Sweden suffered 6.25 deaths per million inhabitants a day for seven straight days between May 12th and May 19th, according to Oceansinata.org, Reuters reports.
It's the highest percentage in Europe and just over that of the United Kingdom, which has 5.75 deaths per million people.
