Unless the Coviddo-19 pandemic broke out, today, such as the weather, the Dubrava prison would hold the memorial gathering in honour of the fallen in Dubrava.
But because of the pandemic, the Organising Council of the Memorial Gathering at the Dubrava prison has announced all family members of the fallen in the Dubrava prison -- all the wounded and survivors and citizens of Kosovo -- that in honour of the 21st anniversary of the Dubrava massacre -- there will be no organisation and prayer, as has happened every year.
Every year on May 22nd, we have visited the crash site within Dubrava prison space, but on this anniversary, due to the pandemic situation, we are obliged to cancel this visit”, the Organising Council has announced.
But on this date, the former prisoner, now director of this agency, Bislim Zogaj, has been scheduled to use a memorial with the names of all those killed, wounded and survivors in the Dubrava prison.
Because of the state created by the pandemic, the memorial has remained unfinished, so its inauguration is expected to take place on the 22nd anniversary of this massacre, media reports from the organisational council said.
