Merkel's CDU party Secretary-General Paul Ziemak called the tombstone in front of Merkel's office “an act of bitter taste”. Germany is already facing a growing wave of demonstrations from the plot's theories, extremists who have alarmed Merkel and her government.
At first, the gatherings began as a handful of protesters who did not support the severe restrictions approved to prevent the transmission of the coronary. But eventually the protests have increased in recent weeks and thousands of people from the largest German cities attend.
