From today the Republic of Kosovo enters the second phase of easing measures against the new COVIDD-19.
The second phase is designed to reopen hairs and beauty salons, dentists and physical therapists, retail merchants and green markets, restaurants and cafes with the sports system, railway transport, urban transport and inter-house with special permission, phone centres with esensual staff lists, and the opening of galleries and museums.
Citizens will continue to appear twice a day, up from 2 hours, according to the previous digit in the identity card number.
Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has said that the second phase implies even greater opening of the economy and therefore increased movement of citizens, which means even greater likelihood of infection. Hence, he has to double his care.
He has also stressed that along with the transition to the second relief phase, there will be today a mobile plan with more police, more volunteers and more field inspectors.
Prime Minister Kurti also stressed that by May 25th, the curve of the infected will be carefully followed, while if the number of infected ones will increase, then we should go back and that would be really disappointing after this success.
The third and final phase of these facilitating measures to be implemented will begin on June 2nd until a successive decision, and will include opening urban and interurban transport, taxis, restaurants and cafes, exams in higher education, prom and achievement tests, opening cinemas, opening theatres, and opening sports events.
