Officials have managed to get the envelope with about 15,000 francs, in case of a 31-year-old Kosovar and his alleged associate, a 30-year-old from Northern Macedonia.
On Monday, shortly before 17, two investigators from the Syrih Canton Police in Zolicon watched an elderly woman depositing an envelope under a trash canister. Soon they saw when the same envelope was taken from a man.
As the Cantonal Police wrote in a communiqué published on Tuesday, officials have managed to get the envelope by about 15,000 francs, in case of the subsequent search by a 31-year-old Kosovar and his alleged associate, a 30-year-old from North Macedonia, reports 20minuten.ch.
They have been arrested and questioned by police on suspicion that they were involved in a fraud crime known as the phenomenon of the false cop”.
Police communication further explains the phenomenon in words that are being practiced more in the Cyril canton, which has to do with showing frauds in police uniform, broadcast albinfo.ch.
