Harvard lecture, what was asked and ordered by Kurt to American diplomacy veterans

Albin Kurti has had a unique experience yesterday to exchange ideas with US diplomacy veterans through a video link for which Albanian Harvard students had been mediating. Nicholas Burns, Frank Wisner, former diplomats and senior U.S. officials asked questions and ordered the incumbent. Burns himself since Congress [...]
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has had yesterday the opportunity to thank postum three high-ranking American diplomats Nicholas Burns, Daniel Fried and Frank Wisner, who were directly involved in the status definition process that resulted with Kosovo's independence.
The cure in this period was sceptical of Kosovo's independence and separately criticised the segment of decentralisation, the establishment of Serb majority municipalities coming as one of the awards for independence, which was proclaimed in 2008, following the formal UN-mediated process at the helm with President Ahtisaari. Kurt also doubted recognition of independence by the United States. But yesterday, the prime minister in office, during an online debate with Harvard students moderated by Burns, who in 2005 at a hearing session in Congress had unveiled the American plan for launching negotiations aimed at defining final status.
Burns in yesterday's video connection had also invited his colleagues diplomat Frank Wisner to a career diplomat who became known in Kosovo with his commitment at the end of 2007 under Treshe ( The United States, the EU, Russia, to try to reach an additional period of Kosovo-Serbia agreement to avoid unilateral declaration of independence.
Also one of the guests was Daniel Fried in charge of European affairs at the State Department and a frequent visitor to Kosovo that world, and former head of the U.S. Liaison Office in Kosovo Marcie Ries.
In his connection to Harvard now in the prime minister's clothing, Kurt in an impressive English never forgot to recall that he had once studied the missing Ukshi Hoti for 21 years, he talked about the situation in Kosovo, referring to his reports (that were complicated along the way), with American Emesare Richard Green discovering a detail that has not been disclosed so far. Kurti told his virtual audience that included students that he has learned that Trump's close associate is now seeking to reach agreement by September, not forgetting that the US took place an electoral year.
He wanted the deal as his main goal. In October, he told me he wants a deal in February, and now he wants an agreement reached by September”, Kurti told the Americans.
American diplomat Frank Wisner, who had attended the Berlin meeting at the end of last year where Kurti before sitting in the prime minister's chair was part of a panel where Djuric was, addressed Kurt with a question of what was his strategy for the reports with Serbia as he has doubts about the territorial exchange and whether there is any other way for Kosovo and Serbia to find a common language.
Kurti in his response to Wisner said that alternative discussions on territories is the employment debate. Let's talk about employment, health care, quality education, the connection of education to the labour market.
We need the EU and the US together. I have no sympathy for these Europeans who are anti-Americans, but I have to say the same for Americans who are anti - EU. I believe in Transatlantic, US and EU should be together”
“We can talk to Serbia a lot about the economy, but we have to normalise states” added Kurti.
Then he reminded Wisner of the Marshall Plan that the US had improvised for Europe after World War II, saying Europe should do one for the Western Balkans.
Kurti has also responded to former diplomat Daniel Fried, who in 2008 had urged Kosovo authorities to accept Ban Ki Moon's 6-point Plan, who was then publicly rejected by President Fatmir Sejdiu and Prime Minister Thaci. Against that plan Vetevendosje had staged protests.
Fried has now asked a veteran diplomat for the region's EU membership by being specifically interested in what Berlin, Paris and Rome Kurti have told him about it.
Kurti has said in this case that the Western Balkans should integrate as a whole into the EU by 2030 or 2035, saying Merkel understands this and that France disagrees with the speed of this process.
Kurte has also been detained in US - Russia reports saying that the U.S. has focused more on relations with China and that Trump has not been very attentive to the consequences of his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.
“Trump s) has been completely attentive to how Putin will use this meeting for access to Eastern Europe, which seeks to break the EU and strengthen Russia's role in the Western Balkans”
Kurti has then viciously attacked Putin, accusing him of having put up a button in the Balkans and involvim in Kosovo as well.
Over the past three years, we have had 2 failures of coups organised by President Putin, one in northern Macedonia and the other in Montenegro. Both failed and now want the third round either in Bosnia or the Republic of Kosovo. This is an important element to understand that President Putin is using a new space that he thinks has assured him that the US is now more concerned with China” has added Kurti.
Seeing Kurt's concerns, Burns, the US diplomat who in the administration of George Bush of the young man had climbed to the position of Undersecretary of State now in the quality of the professor of diplomacy practice and international relations, assured that the United States, even though they have focused on China, has left behind the European Union, which is the major partner of US 911.
It's true that we're focused on China, that's true, but we're focused on Europe. The EU is the biggest trade partner in the United States, the EU is the biggest investor in our economy, and the biggest allies are NATO allies in Europe, as well as Canada, we are still focused on Europe. We believe in Europe as a whole, free and at peace, this is Bush's vision, Mitterandï and Thatcher, 30 years ago, we want to work at concert with the EU. We Americans believe the EU is our big partner, not our opponents or competitors.
The last part was dedicated to Kosovo, where it also went against changing borders. While with a smile and courtesy, thank Kurt for the time he shared to educate the sly diplomats
We want to see UN member Kosovo, recognised by all states of the world, which has safe boundaries, which are not obliged to trade its borders for short-term political benefits, be fully independent and at peace, that's our vision. Thank you for sharing time and education today by helping us understand your country's complexities” was the Burns order.
