Democratic League of Kosovo deputy leader Haki Rugova says convinced that the LDK has numbers for forming the new government without going any way to early elections.
Rugova said the LDK is awaiting the Constitutional Court's decision to form the government, which according to Rugova will be completed very soon.
“We certainly have the numbers for forming the government and it is expected to be formed very soon, we are expecting once the Constitutional Court's decision and then immediately forming government”, Rugova said.
In addition Rugova has commented on holding potential protests by the Vetevendosje Movement in case the Constitution decides in favour of the LDK.
He says it is VV's right to hold protests, but that the same must be democratic and not democratic.
“It is Vetevendosje's right if it wants to hold protests or not, whether they are democratic, it is fair to keep, but if they are not, then should not be kept”, Rugova said of blitz.
This Friday is the warning by the Constitutional Court to publish the decision whether the country will go to new elections, or a government will be formed without election process. President Thaci called on political representatives to leave the Constitutional Court alone. While incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurtin called it a usurper of government offices.
The Constitutional Court on 1 May had decided as a temporary move until May 29th, suspending President Hashim Thaci's decree to mandate Avdullah Hoti of the Democratic League of Kosovo for prime minister until a full decision.
Following Thaci's decree of Hoti, the Vetevendosje Movement was immediately addressed to the Constitutional Court, seeking to assess the constitutionality of Thaci's decision and demanding the deployment of the provisional measure for the suspension of implementation of the decree.
