Tahir Ahmeti, expert on emergency issues and at the same time Executive Director of the Security Policy Research Centre (SPRC) has ordered citizens to take care of strong winds.
He has estimated that the Municipal Directorate for Emergency Management, as well as the Agency for Emergency Management, should be in a state of readiness to help citizens in case of need.
This is Ahmet's full post:
Even though we have temperatures rising in recent days, in some parts of Kosovo today we have strong winds, which, according to the Kosovo Hydrometerological Institute, are expected to continue the coming days.
Citizens need to be careful about these winds, which can be quite dangerous and cause damage, beginning with damage to homes and stamps, moving or throwing various objects, removing trees, harming and destroying agricultural cultures, and in more extreme cases may even endanger the lives of citizens of the country.
The responsible organs, in this case the Municipal Directorate for Emergency Management, and the Emergency Management Agency, must be in a state of readiness to help citizens in case of need.
