US President Donald Trump has warned that about 100,000 people may die from coronary in the United States.
Speaking at a virtual “municipal collection”, he has also denied that his administration has acted very slowly regarding the pandemic.
More than 67,000 people with Avid-19 have already died in the US, the Klan Kosova broadcast.
But Trump expressed optimism about developing a vaccine, saying it could be ready by the end of this year, even though public health experts believe that developing the vaccine will take 12-18 months.
I think we'll have a vaccine by the end of the year. Doctors will tell me I shouldn't say that. But I say what I think... I think we're going to vaccinate a lot earlier”, he said Fox News.
Among the experts who disagree with this optimistic assessment are Dr. Anthony Fauci, US expert on infectious diseases and senior health official in England Chris Whitty.
