European countries must take care of a second deadly wave of Covid-19 because the pandemic is not finished, the World Health Organisation's top official in Europe said.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Dr. Hans Kluj, director for the WHO European region, gave a stern warning to countries that began to ease their deadlock restrictions, saying it is currently “koha for preparation, not to celebrate”.
Dr. Cluj stressed that since the number of cases of Covid-19 in countries such as Great Britain, France and Italy had begun to decline, it did not mean that the pandemic was in the end.
The European explosion era is now in the east, with the number of growing cases in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan, he warned.
