Three weeks after being diagnosed with COVIID-19, the severe infection caused by this virus and other accompanying diseases have caused a 72-year-old from Gjilan's Vrugqi to be the 7th victim in the country.
But at the Infectious Clinic, 5 patients continue to be in serious health condition, two of them assembled, and mechanically ventilated.
Among the 40 who are continuing treatment at this clinic, according to infected psychologist Sali Ahmeti, many of them are headed for recovery, KTV reports.
Yet, Ahmeti says that the most endangered of this virus are those affected by diabetes.
The 7 until now victims in Kosovo from COVID-19, according to Sanitarian Inspectorate officials, were buried according to procedures and standards for infectious diseases.
Their bodies are not allowed to go to the morgue, nor are religious rituals made.
Their burial is only hours after death.
And despite the fact that doctors have warned that Kosovo has entered the critical phase of facing this disease, police reports show high numbers of citizens who are not implementing the Government's measures for belonging and staying at home.
In the Kosovo police report, 76 persons have been detained over the last 24 hours, the largest number in northern Mitrovica, who have acted contrary to government decisions.
