Pandeli Majko gives the good news: After relief in May, tourism will be imposed in Albania

State Minister for Diaspora Pandeli Majko said in one of the country's media that in May Albania's borders will be opened, however, liberalisation of the movement will function on the basis of certain rules, for protection from Coronavirus infection. “The work of administrative structures is trying within the reach of May [...]
The operation of administrative structures is trying within the reach of May to find us with a situation as liberalised for all citizens who want to return or those who want to leave the country to create opportunities. But I want to underline the fact that it doesn't mean we're going back to normal. There will be a movement of specific rules that will step by step be exceeded. Rules that we have very important that have to do with human life”, Majko said.
Majko also gave details regarding the call Prime Minister Rama received today with Greek counterpart, for Albanians who want to return, but also for those who do seasonal work in the neighbouring state.
“Rama has had a telephone conversation with Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis on the issue. Especially in terms of the coronary situation and to stabilise that particular relationship, which is reassessed by our citizens in a large number currently working in Greece. Not only the residents, but especially those who go to seasonal employment. You know Greece has declared particular interest in this”, he said.
The minister explained that mobility in the movement will save tourism this year.
The upcoming “will find Albania more flexible, both liberalised and movement and the situation in general. But we must consider something that we cannot predict. A consensus is required that what is happening is not only happening to Albania. What's important is that Albania put down what could put us down. After relief in May, it will be put here to make tourism”, Minister Pandeli Majko added.
