LDK Deputy Chairman Avdullah Hoti has published a statement of LDK branches in the diaspora, which say they support the decisions of Central Headship and the General Council, if given the opportunity to make the government, to take this responsibility.
The full statement that Mr. Hoti:
The LDK branches in Dispora with concern are leading the situation to Kosovo in the struggle of the Cavid 19 virus pandemic, and we pray for citizens to overcome this situation with smaller consequences, and we also encourage health institutions and other institutions to prevent this virus.
Also with concern, we are following the Kosovo Republic's no-confidence motion. We assess that in the current situation, Kosovo needs more than ever unity and understanding among political parties, and save the tension of the situation that would reflect both on citizens and on the image of the state of Kosovo, image as well as hurt in the eyes of Kosovo's friendly countries.
LDK branches in the diaspora support the decisions of Central Headship and KKP, and we trust that if it is offered the ability to establish the government, The LDK will do its best to establish a responsible and competent Government to lead the country at these critical moments, either because of pandemic or the difficult economic situation that will be present after pandemic.
We rightly expect that President Rugova's philosophy; Euro-European integrations and permanent friendship with the US will be the priority of the Government's coming priority of the Republic of Kosovo.
The LDK branches in Diaspora condemn the denigrative language and promote hatred that is being spread by parties and individuals.
We also appeal to fellow countrymen to avoid hate speech and to contribute constructively to their country and families.
God bless Albanians and Kosovo!
