Kim Jong Un has not been seen in public for 10 days in a row, and was reportedly being treated in a private villa after medical procedures this month.
CNN, meanwhile, has quoted an anonymous American official as saying that Washington was “moniating intelligence” that suggests Kim was the “at great risk”, writes The Guardian, followed Periscopi.
But South Korean Presidency spokesman Kang Min-seok recently said that “had nothing to confirm rumors that leader Kim Jong's health had deteriorated, and that there had been no particular movement detected within North Korea so far. ”
Even Chinese Communist party officials have told Reuters there was no reason to believe Kim's health was critically heavy.
Speculations for Kim's health increased after he missed a event marking his grandfather's birth anniversary and the country's founder Kim Il-sung on April 15th. K
