In the letter which online Economy has exclusively secured, Haradinaj has several conditions for AAK to be part of the new government that is expected to be led by the Democratic League.
Haradinaj calls for reviewing the budget of the Republic of Kosovo in order to correct “serious mistakes” in selective budget divisions and involvement in capital investments of the Anamorawa and Dukagjin Highway, as well as accelerating the work on the rest of the Pristina-Peje Highway.
Another request by former Prime Minister Haradinaj, in the letter dated April 20th 2020, is “the conclusion of the state-run obligations taken before the correction of the Demarket Agreement with Montenegro”.
Although, he has not yet received a request from President Hashim Thaci for prime minister's mandate, Isa Mustafa had sent a letter to Haradinaj telling Kosovo that “Kosovo is facing a serious institutional situation following the Ministerial Mode of the current Government, which occurred on March 25th of this year”.
The country is facing Covid-19, where, in addition to combating pandemic, it is very necessary to take measures to cope with the economic social consequences of this pandemic, as well as the need to start dialogue in Serbia for a comprehensive agreement on tasks that cannot be carried out by a government in office”.
“We are convinced that Kosovo needs the foundation of a new government, following all constitutional ways. On these criteria as the second party to appear in the October 6th 2019 national elections, we will accept the mandate, if offered, to establish the Government with a coalition with you, the AAK, the Social Democrat Initiative, the AKR and subjects representing non-partisan communities in the Parliament. That's why we expect your approval and other subjects”.
“Vlerating that the fundamental objective of this government would be the battle to defeat the Pandu-19 pandemic, completing dialogue with Serbia with mutual recognition, restoring the economy after pandemic, strengthening the legal state through the fight against crime and corruption, and along with these tasks we have to strengthen partnership with the European Union and the United States of America”, it is said among other things in the letter, which the Online Economy has provided from sources within the LDK.
