US Embassy: Kosovo agreement - ENTSO, the region's largest energy security

The US Embassy has congratulated Kosovo on reaching agreement with the European Network of Energy Transmission Operators (ENTSO) and members of the Regional Continental Europe Group concerning conditions that must be met to be connected with the European electricity network.

The US Embassy through a statement said the adoption of this agreement reached the peak of the project, launched in 2013, to bring greater energy security to the region.

The United States has encouraged the parties to find creative and sustainable solutions to boost further economic integration. We look forward to continuing to work with Kosovo and its numerous partners while it implements this decision and continues its integration into the European community”, the statement said.
