Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu and LVV Parliamentary Group chief Rexhep Selimi have indirectly identified citizens to appear in protest Saturday, when the new Kosovo government is expected to be voted in the country.
Haxhiu and Selimi refused to call on citizens to stay home on Saturday, just as they had been asked to do so so far.
Selimi did not speak, while Haxhiu, although denied that the Vetevendosje Movement has organised protests, said it is important that citizens express their opposition in such a form.
“Deputet Selimi mentioned earlier that it is a major civic concern.. Actually Vetevendosje has not decided on protests... Citizens' health is very important, but on the other hand it's also very important that citizens express their opposition. We have countries protesting from a distance of”, Haxhi said on the Debat Plus show at RTV Dukajini.
Meanwhile today, incumbent Health Minister Arben Vitita at a joint conference with incumbent Economy Minister Roseta Hajdari and National Public Health Institute Director Naser Ramadani presented the new measures, while repeatedly stressing that citizens should avoid gatherings and stay at home.
