Through a statement, the British have also shown their position about the agreement between the two countries.
“Great Britain welcomes the appointment of Miroslav Lajcak as the EU's special representative for the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, and for other Western Balkan issues”, it is said in the statement of the British Embassy, published on Facebook.
“Great Britain has long supported the EU's relaxed dialogue as the way towards reaching a sustainable normalisation agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, and towards ensuring progress towards EU membership”, the statement stresses.
Britons have announced that “continue, as part of a common international approach, to support a comprehensive, final, legally binding agreement, respecting territorial integrity, which is acceptable to the citizens of both countries, and which will bring good in the long-term plan for them and for the entire region”.
