The Spanish Senate hearing will be held on March 17th, with the agenda ratification of the NATO Accession Protocol. The members in good condition will be present in seconds and those who are unable because of the choreography will participate and vote with video conference.
This was recently announced by Senate Speaker Maria Pilar Lop Cucae. The possibility of remote comment is part of legislation regulating the work of the Spanish Senate.

Overcoming the recent obstacle to formalising Northern Macedonia's NATO membership was halted after the Spanish Senate decided earlier this week to suspend all activities for the next seven days. After the North Macedonia Protocol for NATO membership is approved in the Senate, the document will have to be signed by the Spanish king and then deposited at the State Department in Washington. With the handover of the ratification instrument from Northern Macedonia, also in the State Department, the procedure will be officially completed, making Northern Macedonia the 30th member of the Alliance.
