Sali Berisha: Kukes-Hasi and Tropoja must be co-ordinated with Prizren and Gjakova for the Coronavirus

Former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha requested decentralisation of the treatment for COVID 19.

For the “360 show Grada” at RTV Ora, he said that they should be prepared and hospitals in circuits, while for Kukesin Hasin and Tropoja, says work must be co-ordinated with Gjakova and Prizren.

“Decentralisation of treatment. In all of this universe of this epidemic, we have doctors, although the number has dropped terribly in 7 years, from 1 to 600 has become 1 by 1000. But we have beds, we won't miss hospitals if we get the job well organized. They've decided to quarantine the hospital Chiefs Xhutoqi. But we also have circuits, Korca, Elbasan, Fieri, Shkodra. All of these can be equipped and become waiting centres in the event of need because we do not know the size of how long it will be”, Berisha said.

Former prime minister and former leader of the Democratic Party said closing the border between Kosovo and Albania must exclude Kukes area - Has-Trope and the Gjakova-Prizren area.

For Kukes and Tropoja, “should be co-ordinated with Gjakova and Prizren. Locking down of border making one another with Kosovo must exclude Kukes area - Has-Trope and the Gjakova-Prizren area. They need to co-operate on who the COVID will be and what it will be for other problems. In this way Albania will face it in beds without any discussion”, Berisha said.
