The Democratic Party of Kosovo considers the idea promoted by Albin Kurti's Government very disturbing, his minister, Blerim Reka, with whom he would become an extremely great favour to the Serbian state, respectively.
European Integrations Minister Blerim Reka, days ago, was asked what he would do if something was required to give Serbia to take Kosovo to the UN, Reka has said it could be given the Transit Corridor to the Adriatic Sea via the Kosovo Highway to Durres”. He called this “compromis fer”, towards the Serbian state.
Migen Kelmendi, a member of the PDK leadership, at a media conference has said that European Integration Minister Blerim Reka must resign on this.
According to the PDK, with such action Government Kurti resolving dialogue is looking at opening the corridors.
“over all this time the PDK tried to be principled, fair and offer space to the winners of the October 6th election so they could work and work on their programme. Kurti government in these 30 days made decisions requiring an opposition stance and the attention of public opinion and Kosovo citizens”.
“Minister of the Kurti Government Blerim Reka these days found the courage to open an old issue of anachronic tesis such as that of Serbia's arrival in Durres, the sea, bringing us back in time and space”, Kelmendi said. Kelmendi has said the “thesis of Corridor” has received a historical response, and is now the dead subject since the founding of the Albanian state.
The idea for opening the corridors, Kelmendi calls Kurti Government political error until Reca's resignation is requested.
“Rhes has the idea of exiting to Durres, of its disaster and of Kurti Government, made it a political proposal. The disaster of this statement and the reopening of this topic in essence means choosing between territories and corridors. The solution, according to him, is to open the corridors and thus topped by topics for territories in resolution in opening corridors. The least that can be asked is Reca's public responsibility and resignation. I must not ask Reca”, Kelmendi said.
