Gulf dissatisfied with the Gjakova budget: Many projects will not be carried out

At the last session of the Kosovo Assembly, held last week and passed the budget for 2020, one of the municipalities that was discussed was Gjakova, as well as the mayor of this municipality, Ardian Gjini. Gjakova Mayor Ardian Gjini, in a relationship to Skype for Kosova Prees, declared that almost [...]
Gjakova Mayor Ardian Gjini, in a relationship to Skype for Kosova Prees, said almost all government-funded projects will stop and those before them will not start.
He said that the Gjakova-Cline road, the exit for Prizren, the “Bujar Roka”, the new transit, the Kralan-Jablanice road, the Cremjan-So they will not be carried out, while projects such as the Pec exit and the new stadium will not be launched.
According to him, all of these and many other projects have been ahead of the Haradinaj Government draft budget.
Gjakova's head drew attention that even with current budgeting some projects could not be carried out for 7 or 8 years.
“In the budget which the Kosovo Assembly has approved, the last budget, and with that budget which the Kurti Government has sent to the Parliament almost all projects funded by the Government of Kosovo, I am not talking about the municipal budget, will be halted. To give a concrete example, I didn't suggest for all of Gjakova's Charles, which is the exit for Prizren, the “Buryar Rocka” and the new transitation are set aside 800 thousand euros, the truth is that those 800 thousand euros have already been spent and we have to pay, so if we stay with this budget, it's hard for us to continue these jobs. And so is Gjakova Street. -Dolc or Gjako-Clini as I know it's been budgeted around 4m euros and it's had to be 20, out of four million euros that road won't be carried out even 7 or 8:x3>, Djind told Kosovas.
Gjakova's chairman rejected the idea that Gjakova had more means, as according to him, with 12m euros planned for two years would suffice for planned projects.
Djind said for 18 years Gjakova has been less budgeted, in some cases even 17-fold less than other municipalities.
Although he said he did not expect such a budget from the Kurti Government, the optimists said they would find a way to complete the projects launched in Gjakova.
There are people who have been talking about Gjakova, there's been Gjakova. No, there's not a lot of Gjakova, there's been 12-13 million for two years that have been enough, but we can't forget that there's been a 17-fold less budgetary area somewhere. I still believe that we will find a road in Gjakova to do these jobs, but I have not expected such a budget from the Kosovo government”, Djind told Kosovo Press.
Otherwise, the blood-blooded deputies representing the position at the budget hearing have stated that the launched projects would continue and that President Ardian Gjini's claims do not stand.
