Ginny: Kurt is favouring Serbia, deceived citizens

The chairman of the Gjakova municipality -- once also AAK deputy chairman Ardian Gjini -- said Prime Minister Albin Kurti's decision to lift the fee for raw materials from Serbia and Bosnia is the wrong decision. He said full tax removal on April 1st is in favour of power [...]
He said full tax removal on April 1st is in favour of power in Serbia. According to Djind, Kosovo does not need to do favors to Serbia.
I think the whole approach is wrong, the approach you're trying to get into is one that serves nothing. The other is I think I'm choosing a strange time, and we said it earlier. We know that there are elections in Serbia, we know that full tax removal on April 1st is a favour to power in Serbia. I don't know if Kosovo needs to do favors to power there”, he said.
Djind says the tax has preserved Kosovo's sovereignty, so according to him, Kurti Government is making a mistake.
Our “Alliance positioning is clear that the tax has maintained Kosovo's sovereignty, the tax is the only tool of work that Kosovo keeps in hand for negotiations or negotiations that are expected to be held very soon this year are being assumed. So I think the Kurti government is making a mistake”, he said.
The AAK has originally called an extraordinary session on this issue and we need to see how the hearings will flow and what will follow the session. We don't have a clear decision on what we're going to do next, but gradually we're going to see”, he said.
According to him, Kurti has changed his political stance. He even says that this government is facing some problems.
The first “of the job is changing attitudes. In practice, if attitudes change for the better, there's nothing wrong with it, but in itself it contains a trick because if you go out and you say the electorate something else and something else wins the election and then it changes and we have a problem here. We have a problem in democracy, and we also have a genuine problem with the citizens who voted”, he said.
On the other hand, it seems that Kurti's government is having some problems. It is good for Kosovo to succeed the Kurti Government. Whatever Government succeeds. It's not good for our country to fail a government. However, I see him with some problems. There's a lot of energy to find what's ever existed to sell as a success. Now I think the Government has the right to download the boards to make these decisions are right of them”.
But this should be a side decision, it can't be called governance as a success because it's finding something that's built a preliminary government, but the goal should be to build something new, and if building that cloud also means breaking up some of the structures that have existed, then it's completely fine. Logic is the same”, he said.
Another problem in the Kurti government is the delay with budget approval for 2020.
All says the budget passage would help both municipalities and ministries to develop procurement procedures.
Now if with this energy I can build something I don't know. The next issue is budget delay. The government Kurti has had all the opportunities to regulate the budget in June for all projects it has not believed should be developed. As soon as the budget had allowed both municipalities and ministries to develop procurement procedures, the starting procedures. Now this delay causes us very big problems, not just us municipalities, but the government itself because budgetary units cannot start procurement procedures”.
The “do not launch procurement procedures with possible complaints makes us want to start 2020 projects sometime in June, July, maybe even August. This means that this budget year will be seriously damaged, but at the same time it will also be damaged in 2021 because in 2021 we have to do a lot of transport and we can access new projects”, he said.
“The solution has been very simple with the budget passed, don't try to cure or stop projects that they believe are not the right ones and in June the revision. Trying to control everything, he's ruining his way forward. There are both local and central levels that have initially made such mistakes even with these mistakes passed on as long as it lasts for four years to be followed with this problematic launch”, he said.
