The Wuhan-based Institute 701, where the pandesmic choreography began, announced that the ship would be in a state of “to be effectively treated with infectious diseases unknown as Covid-19 and would have “a new medical care protocol and schedule of staff, materials, fuel, ventilation, waste and channeling system<2>.
The ship was designed based on the experience of two field hospitals in Wuhan and a sailing case of Diamond Princess.
China's sole hospital, Diendano, is used mainly for humanitarian missions abroad and lacks the ability to treat infectious diseases.
The new ship will be able to provide medical assistance during the epidemic, as well as to be used for evacuations.
