After an emergency meeting in the late hours of Saturday, the government adopted extraordinary measures to prevent people from entering and leaving areas that are the worst hit by the Coronavirus.
These measures were adopted only hours after two Italians died from coronary in the country's north, writes “Reuters”.
A spokesman for the Venito region's governor announced that the number of infected persons there has increased to 19.
Lombardia and Venito, where some 30 percent of local production is created, are the hardest - hit parts of the Coronobrus.
The region of Lombard includes Milan. This town's mayor, Giusppe Sala, announced that all schools would be closed Monday.
Even the university in Lombardi and Venito will remain closed until the first part of March. Authorities have also cancelled sports events, including three games of the main football league, Serie A.
