The hearing was postponed for December 30th, after the defence was not translated the text of the amended indictment in the Serbian language.
The hearing is expected to be public, since the process is of great interest.
At the session, the defendants will be briefly declared and the evidence presented by the prosecution and defence will then be discussed.
Kosovo's special prosecutor filed charges on December 2nd against six people -- Nedeljko Spasojevicq, Marko Rosiq, Dragisa Markovik, Zarko Jovanovic, Radet Basara and Silvana Arsovic -- accusing them of involvement in Ivanovic's murder.
SDP Civic Initiative leader Oliver Ivanovic was killed on 16 January 2018, in front of his party headquarters in northern Mitrovica.
The indictment accuses defendants of criminal acts of involvement or organisation in a criminal group, misuse of office, assistance in committing serious murder crime, possession or gun control, detection of a secret official, abuse of official office in the commission, and manipulation of evidence in co-ordination.
None of the people in this indictment have been charged with murder.
The Acropolis claims that this alleged criminal group has not been formed by accident but has been operating since 2011
