“With much respect and understanding, I ask the Kosovo media to be careful, to verify the pre-public news, as there is a tendency of Serbian-Russian media to produce false news, to receive news from foreign media and mistranslating it, with the intent to destabilise the situation, and to put Kosovo in a unfavourable position in relation to strategic partners, and in the international political arena in general”, wrote Avdiu at” Facebook.

By 13.02.2020, Swiss newspaper “Le Temps“launched a terrorist assassination attempt on fuel tanks in Geneva-Vernier, who had planned Islamic State followers during 2018 and 2019, allegedly two Albanians arrested in 2018, have been involved in the case. As reported, the arrest of Albanians in Geneva occurred two years ago and not now.
With much respect and understanding, I ask Kosovo media to be careful, to verify the pre-public news, as there is a tendency of Serb-Russian media to produce false news, to receive news from foreign media and to translate it badly, in order to destabilise the situation, and to put Kosovo in a unfavourable position in relation to strategic partners, and in the international political arena in general.
So, the news that has circulated in the written media and several portals, in Kosovo, regarding the arrest of two Albanians in Geneva refers to the events of the first two years and has nothing more to do with actuality!
We welcome co-operation between the Republic of Kosovo and Swiss safety bodies in the global fight against terrorism and in other security areas.
