“The re-admission agreement” with a five-year mandate signed in 2015 and expired last Monday, highlights the condition that Chinese spies travel to Switzerland and interview Chinese suspects that Swiss authorities want to infiltrate.
In contrast to the 50 similar agreements Switzerland has signed with other states, this agreement was never published by the government, nor was it even admitted to existing in public until August, writes The Guardian, records Periscope.
It emphasized that Chinese spies could enter Switzerland without official status while Switzerland would retain their secret identity. Reports they produced for Swiss authorities were also kept secret. /Periscope
