Palmer does not rule out the possibility of Albright getting involved in Kosovo- Serbia

US Special Envoy for Western Balkan Affairs Matthew Palmer does not rule out Madeline Albright being involved in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia during the Biden administration, while adding that US interests in Kosovo are stable and overcome certain political moments. “While I cannot speculate about things [...]
“While I cannot speculate about such things, I think it is clear that the US commitment to our partnership with Kosovo and Serbia will remain strong, despite individual personalities who can work on these issues in the future administration”, he has said.
US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Palmer has told of his recent visit to Kosovo and his experience in Pristina during a dinner where a Halloween party of vampires and lights was organised at the place where he was staying.
He has also said that once the pandemic passes COVID-19, his mother would welcome an opportunity to visit Kosovo.
Matthew Palmer, when asked who has a favorite singer/soldier, has responded that “I want Lipan. No doubt”
The Special Emisar for the Balkans has also said that Kosovo and Serbia must reach agreements that normalise relations and pave the way for states towards European integration.
A deal normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia would pave the way towards European integration for both countries. That, in turn, would help promote stability, peace and prosperity throughout the region. This would attract foreign investment and give young people more reason to believe that they can build the best possible future for themselves at home. But failure to reach an agreement would make those goals more difficult to reach”, Palmer said of the clancosova.tv.
