So the country has a Government in Task and is on its way to extraordinary elections.
And despite this situation, no decision has been made by the incumbent Government, what will happen to the talks with Serbia.
The European Union Office has told T7 that they will wait until the full publication of the Constitutional Court's decision. But, they say it is up to Kosovo institutions to continue with the right steps.
We take notes of the Constitutional Court's decision and await its complete publication. Now it is up to Kosovo institutions to continue with the right steps in line with the decision. The EU will continue to engage with all in Kosovo to promote the European integration agenda and necessary reforms“
The European Union requires that all agreements reached in Brussels be respected.
“The EU will continue to engage with its co-ordinators in Kosovo for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue. For Kosovo and Serbia, its relevant path to the EU runs through Dialogue. We continue to expect Kosovo to respect and implement all past agreements”
Meanwhile, Tv has also sought answers from the Kosovo government itself for such a process.
But the same, they haven't given any concrete answers to how they're gonna act.
I am reminding you that Prime Minister Hoti said at the media conference, following the publication of the Constitutional Court's decision. He has clearly said that I will respect the JPC decision without question, and the Government in Task will fulfill all obligations that are provided under such circumstances”, the Kosovo Government says.
However, dialogue observers estimate that this process in this situation in the country's situation should not continue.
According to them, the same should be suspended until the new legislature is established.
The same is Emir Abrashi from Democracy Plus.
President Vjosa Osmani's duty has already held several meetings with representatives of political parties.
And this to agree to an election date, which is expected to be announced no longer than 40 days.
