Hoti has made these comments at the virtual meeting with Kosovo rapporteur at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Peter Beyer.
In addition to issues of pandemic, Hoti has also talked to Beyer about recent political developments, the report said.
With particular emphasis, the president's case has been discussed.
The Government's announcement says that Hoti has reiterated the position that if a solution is not found, then it will go to extraordinary elections.
“Prime Minister Hoti also raised the president's issue, where he stressed the readiness of political subjects to reach a solution, while underlining that if there is no solution to the issue, the country must go to the polls”, the report said.
This meeting also discussed the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, which is currently being held at the expert level. In this case, Prime Minister Hoti stressed that threatening statements by Serbia's top officials do not help this process.
