At least 13 percent of all bitcoin criminal proceedings went through private wallets that make it harder to track cryptova peace transactions in 2020, down from 2% in 2019, according to one study.
While cryptova peace transactions are nicknames, they are registered in public notebooks called “Blockchain” that make it easier to track the flow of funds, Reuters writes.
But private wallets, for which there are many types, combined, mix, anonymous, make it complicated to pursue money.
This makes practically impossible to trace funds, especially if you do a series of transactions through private wallets, said Dr. Tom Robinson, leading scientist in Elliptic study. /Periscope
