A day earlier, 27 photos of prominent personalities from Mitrovica have been inaugurated, which are located at the site of the city's library.
University Professor Blerim Latifi thinks the absence of Bajram Rexhepi's image is not the only municipality scandal with these photographs.
He points out the fact that Mary Shllaku, sentenced to death for nationalist activities by the Prizren District Court in 1946 and the photograph of Hivzi Solomon, the president of this court at the time of Marie Shllaku's sentence, has joined the building.

The Mitrovica municipality, supposedly to honour it, has put photos of 27 historical figures in a public building, figures related to city history. I saw the reactions of people who did not see the picture of Bajram Rexhepi, the former prime minister of Kosovo. I noticed another scandal in this exhibition: The photograph of Marie Shllaku, sentenced to death for nationalistic activities by the Prizren District Court in 1946, and the photograph of Hivzi Solomon, the president of this court at the time of Marie Sllak's sentence. So the Mitrovica municipality has again joined the gelat and the victim, the Yugoslav judge and prosecutor and his convict, Albanian nationalist. This is not just a shame of ignorance. It's also... trial yourself!
