An elderly Serb dies in Pristina, Islamic Community hosts funeral ceremony
A Pristina citizen of Serbian nationalism has died today. She was now living the House of Elders and had no one to perform religious ceremonies.
This responsibility was assumed by the Council of the Islamic Community, which in co-operation with the Communists completely organised the funeral ceremony, testifying once again that harmony and tolerance are virtues of the Albanian people.
Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, who has thanked KBI to host the mortore ceremony.
A senior citizen of the Serbian Nationality at the House of Elders has passed away today. He was alone and he didn't have anyone. For unexplained reasons, there was no one to bury even the religious institutions he belonged to. Together with the Islamic Community, we organized the funeral. I want to publicly thank the Islamic Community for the entire organization. At the end of humanity, humanity is the most important”, Ahmeti wrote on his Facebook account.
