Ahmeti has said that demands from citizens at the local level have increased during the pandemic.
He adds that 13 thousand people affected have been sent food supplies.
The first “front line is health personnel. The first line to face problems is the state, but most complaints come to us, we've had increased aid requirements, in Pristina there are 13 thousand people who have had COVID. We ask them if you're okay, how are you doing if you need anything? Some people demand that they can't come out, some because of the serious situation”, Ahmeti says on Dukajini TV.
Pristina's first one says his reactions are not to hurt someone politically.
“I do not intend to hurt someone politically, I have seen that domestic municipality-government discussions are not functioning”, he adds.
Ahmeti says the Government at the meetings it has had told them the measures taken are in vain.
I've been talking to the government about 10 times, when I say these measures are in vain, that's what I said at the meeting. Since seven? It makes no sense. I'm saying we're closing down for two weeks, or don't do us any economic damage”, he says..
