Vuciq: Kosovo doesn't want a compromise election, so recognition is meaningless for Serbia

Serbia's government at a special meeting today has discussed Kosovo in particular the question of dialogue and the corruption situation facing the Serbian state.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq also attended this meeting.

As Serbian media write, Vuciq, about resolving the problem with Kosovo, was quoted as saying that his state cannot accept talking to someone who does not meet obligations from agreements reached in Brussels.

According to him, the association of Serb majority municipalities is an unconditional obligation envisioned by the Brussels agreement.

“They committed themselves to the Association of Serb majority municipalities. It is necessary to meet things regarding the regional police and they cannot invent new agreements”, Vuciq said.

According to him, it is the Kosovo side, which does not want solutions or compromise, as as he stressed, they are seeking to speak only of mutual recognition, broadcast the news further.net.

Serbia cannot accept that Kosovo does not meet its obligations and that it is important for Serbia to recognise Kosovo's independence. They are dedicated to the association of Serb majority municipalities. This puts us in a situation where Albanians do not want a compromise solution. Recognition is meaningless for Serbia”, Vuciq said.

Vuciq has also said that with Kosovo it has been discussed how to find a solution, but nothing has been done yet.

As far as Kosovo's coronary situation is concerned, Vuciq has said that a lab conducting tests has been added to the northern part of Mitrovica The PCR and that a laboratory will be opened soon as well.
