Twitter will hand over the official presidential profile to US President-elect Joe Biden the day he swears to take office at the White House despite Donald Trump still refusing his defeat in the November 3rd presidential election.
American media report that the social Twitter network is preparing for the passage of the White House's institutional accounts on January 20, 2021. The operation will take place in co-operation with the National Archive Fund, as happened in 2017. All posts published in @ POTUS, @ FLOTUS, @VP and other official profiles will also be stored.
Platform @ POTUS is used mainly by Trump, but after the platform elections, it started constantly posting warning messages in many of Trump posts. That's after he claims he won the election and that his opponent Joe Biden has won after manipulating votes.
On the other hand, Joe Biden is not an active Twitter user compared to Trump. He has posted about 7,000 messages for his 19 million followers, compared to 58,000 of Trump.
