Thousands of health workers were infected by the Ovid 19 virus as the first line of confronting pandemic. Since the majority survived this dangerous virus and immediately returned to the service of the patients, some of them, unfortunately, lost their lives in this confrontation. Their contribution, even giving their lives alone to serve their patients, observing Hippocrates ' vow to the last, deserves honor from all of us.
Therefore, in accordance with my constitutional responsibilities, I have decided to decorate, post mortem, with the Presidential Medal of Merit, health workers who, while actively offering health services, were infected with Avid-19 during the pandemic, and lost their lives from this infection.
We'll be hosting the awards ceremony soon in front of the family. At the same time, the list of decorated ones will be updated in carbon information we receive from responsible institutions.
