At the CEC's latest conference today, President Valdete Daka announced that Nexmi Rudari, the LDK candidate in Podujevo, a party that has so far governed this municipality for 20 years, has received 35.97% of the vote.
“Speed Bulqi, Vetevendosje Movement has 51.64% of votes counted, Necmi Rudari LDK has 35.97 per cent and Naim Fetah The PDK has 12.40 per cent of the votes counted. These are the preliminary results without votes with wine and votes abroad. In North Mitrovica Serbian List Milan Radojevic has 89.81 per cent of votes counted, Erden Attic of VV has 3.68 per cent, Florent Azemi PDK 3.54 per cent”, Daka said.
During the next day, results from conditional and postal votes will be announced. According to the CEC, today's elections in Podujevo and northern Mitrovica were held calmly and with few irregularities that did not violate the integrity of the elections.
