PDK in Prizren: Haskuka with 10 directors charged with abuse of duty, here are the facts of budget damage

The PDK branch in Prizren through a press conference has accused the mayor of this municipality, Mytaher Haskuka, of mismanaging the municipality's budget.

When a month and a half are left until the deadline for payment implementation is completed, it comes to question how some 12.9 million payments will be spent, so we're talking about over 60% of the aloated budget. The particular characteristic is that the source of the financing (inflows) had to be used for the first half of 2020 because they are the means that have been carried since 2019, with the destination for covering contractual obligations, which were also carried since 2019.

That means about 1.2 million euros in debts have not been paid so far.

I was reminded that: In 2018, municipalities had a budgetary surplus of 2,731,779; In 2019 the municipality had a budgetary surplus of $3,586,000; A total of budget surplus for two years totals 6,317,779.

We want to inform the broad public opinion that the budgetary deficit is an indication of the inability of local governance to manage budgetary means, which the municipality has available and budgetary surplus as such, is also a potential source of corruption.
