Pristinas infected with coronarys too quickly can receive 50 euros from the Pristina Community for coverage of treatment expenses. Such an idea has been given first by Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti. His idea has also found support from opposition parties in this municipality, though some propose to separate more means.

Over 4 thousand people are infected with coronarys in Pristina. For these, but also others who in tests for COVID-19 will result positive, Chairman Shpend Ahmeti is proposing to be separated from 50 euros that would help cover treatment spending.

Ahmeti's proposal for subsidising citizens with coronarys is supporting opposition parties in Pristina.

However, someone is saying Ahmeti's proposal is not his idea.

Nazlie Bala, asmabliste of the Vetevendosje Movement in the Pristina municipality, has said her party proposed four months ago in the Kosovo Assembly the separation of subsidies for citizens.

Bala has said the VV will vote on this proposal, but adds that the amount must be higher.

The first “, where the proposal is of the Vetevendosje Movement at one of the Kosovo Assembly sessions in July. As far as the amount and budget are concerned, of course, the Pristina municipality has a budget and we, like the movement, will vote on it and we will demand that this amount increase in view of the economic situation”, Bala has declared.

Bala has said the sum should go to families who have serious economic status.

Even the Democratic League of Kosovo in Pristina is considering that the amount of 50 euros is small to help citizens with coronarys.

LDK Ambassador to Pristina Life Rafuna has said her party will support President Ahmeti's initiative.

“We as the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo in Pristina's Municipal Assembly support the Communist Executive Initiative for the sharing of financial means for Pristina citizens who have resulted in positive with COVID-19. We consider that the amount of 50 euros is small, given the high cost of healing patients with this 148x1> virus, Rafuna said.

She has declared that the LDK will demand that the amount increase, as the Pristina municipality has enough budgets.

We're going to demand that the amount increase, as the municipality has enough financial means that are being carried annually. We have also voted for the 5m-euro economic package and will continue to be the voice of our citizens in the Municipal Assembly”, Rafuna said.

That the amount of 50 euros is insufficient for citizens infected with Corleone is also considering the Social Democrat Initiative.

This party's ambassador to the Pristina municipality, Granit Shala, has told Express that it should see budgetary opportunities to increase that amount.

“As aamblist of the Social Democrat Initiative in Pristina's Municipal Assembly, I welcome any proposals that would come to the aid of those affected with COVID-19. The proposed amount, I consider, is insufficient and should be viewed by budgetary opportunities, if that amount can increase. Pandemia has affected family economies and institutions, both the local and central level, should take action in the function of supporting citizens at this time of pandemic”, Shala has declared.

Even the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo in Pristina is considering that 50 euros are insufficient for covering expenses for people affected by coronarys.

AAK Ambassador to Pristina Susan Kika has declared for Express that based on current practices, there are citizens whose treatment for coronary treatment has cost up to 2 thousand euros.

“The expenses are being made up to 2,000 euros, as much as we've heard from Corleone patients. I don't find it very convenient, it's not a big help, that's my opinion, but it's 50 euros that don't meet the demands of the citizens, Kika said.

Kika has proposed that financial means be separated only for families who cannot afford recovery.

She says her party has proposed that the amount be 250 euros.

We as the Parliamentary Group have proposed that the amount be 250 euros, taking into account the cost of recovery. It's better that money be divided only for those in need, because maybe not everyone needs to subvention”, Kika said.

Neither is the PDK in Pristina compatible with the amount proposed by President Shpend Ahmeti.

Ambistics i PDK in Pristina, Leutrim Retkoceri, has said the municipality has spent only 40 per cent of the budget. According to him, the minimum aid to citizens should be 250 euros.

“Proposal of 50 euros is more of a mockery to the citizens of Pristina, that we know that the average cost of a citizen to recover is about 500 euros, and we are that this amount is raised because the municipality of Pristina has only 40 percent of the spent budget, which the minimum of this assistance would have to be 250 euro”, Retcocer said in a television show.

Meanwhile, President Shpend Ahmeti has on Wednesday declared that the amount of 50 euros is modest, but says these are the capacities of the Pristina municipality.

These days we will send the proposal to the Municipal Assembly that every citizen of Pristina (officially in the civil registry) that is confirmed by corons on the lists of I 50 (50) Euro on behalf of health spending, outside of services provided by our health system. We know it's very modest, but these are the capacities of our municipality”, Ahmeti wrote on Facebook.

Meanwhile, according to an estimate the Express has made for the last seven days on average in Pristina, 300 people are positive.

According to this average, the Pristina municipality in one day was to allocate 15 thousand euros to 300 infected citizens.
