The Hotelerry and Tourism Oda has warned protests in the event even at the next session does not pass the Economic Regeneration Pack. They have also announced that they will not respect the measures in force.
The chairman of this office has indicated that he will sue Kurti and Hoti's government for the measures that have been taken during this time, which he claims were unconstitutional.
After more than an hour and a half of meetings, the Oda of Hotelery and Tourism has made several decisions in the event the Economic Resurface Pack does not pass. The chairman of this office, Hysen Sogojeva, said that along with other options, there have been no total closure of the country today, saving millions of euros.
The first “was decided to be passed as soon as possible, even at the first session of the Kosovo Assembly, the Law on Economic Recovery is passed as soon as possible. Otherwise, if this does not pass will follow protests, the unobedience initiative of these current measures may begin. Then all the workers are paid, because the workers who were under the obligation are not paid. Banking interest will be stopped as soon as possible, this will not disturb our hotel business in Pristina”, he said.
Sogojevo after this meeting said that rent is also being required, since people are in trouble.
“We like Ode made a decision to file lawsuits against the government and the past and today, because until the pandemic law all decisions have been unconstitutional, so we will file collective lawsuits, because the damages that have been done at the time to return business”, he added.
He has added that they will agree with other options, which in the event that even the next session does not pass the Economic Regeneration Package will begin to protest. Among other things, they have asked as soon as measures that are in force are abolished, since as he said, these are not helping in non-proliferation of COVID-19. /S. Pajaziti
