Chauvin is charged with second and third-degree murder and Floyd's unintentional murder on May 25th in Minneapolis, placing his knee in the victim's neck for almost nine minutes.
Videos of the incident have triggered major protests in the US due to police brutality and racism.
The institution's capacity for Chauvin's release was set at $1.25m, and at a cost of $1m.
He was released on bail, according to a document submitted to the District Court in the Hannep District.
The conditions under which Chauvin was released include the ban on working in order forces and contact George Floyd's family. He has also been asked to hand over any license or license for firearms.
