5 people have lost their battle with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while 203 new positive cases have been recorded in Albania.
According to the Health Ministry's report, “in the last 24 hours of COVID-19 in Albania has conducted 1351 tests, of which have resulted positive 203 citizens.
Meanwhile, 87 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cures to 9762 instead of the beginning of the” epidemic.

We inform you about the epidemiological situation in the last 24 hours of COVID19 in Albania: 1351 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, which have resulted in positive 203 citizens affected by the SARS-COV2 virus.
87 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cures to 9762 instead of the beginning of the epidemic.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities:
68 cases in Tirana, out of 17 cases in Fier, Korca, 15 in Elbasan, 14 in Berat, 12 in Lezha, 10 in Durres, 9 in Lushnje, 6 in Pogradec, out of 5 cases in Vlora, Saranda, out of 3 cases in Grams, Kuchove, from 2 cases in Shkodër, Kurbi, Mirdija, Tepelne, Roskovec, from 1 case in Kruje, Kavaj, Liberd, Matte-Arps, Selice, Bulza, Vorka, Vor.
Currently in Infective Hospital and “Shefqet Ndkoqi” is treating 239 patients, 15 in intensive therapy from which 6 patients are assembled.
In the last 24 hours, despite doctors' efforts, unfortunately they have lost their battle with COVID19, a 59-year-old from Elbasan, a 79-year-old from Vlora, an 87-year-old from Tirana and two citizens from Durres: 66 and 85.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reminds you that by the 15th October masks or textary protective barriers are also made binding in open - air environments in order to minimize the spread of infection.
Make wearing a mask part of your daily conduct to protect yourself and your loved ones. Do not neglect for a moment the routine of physical distance of at least one mile [1.5 m] and take care of your hygiene.
