KMDLN on call on the Zemaj Hote to do something inviting Coddy

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has reacted after increasing recent cases with Covid-19 in Kosovo, saying it expects the Government of Kosovo to act quickly in the undertaking of several preventive measures in order to avoid total closure.

KMDLNj points out that it is disturbing to say that Pristina in all cases constitutes 50% of the country's infected, therefore it has become the hearth of infection and infection distribution, so immediate measures must be taken.

Recently, tell it all over the world we have a significant increase in people infected with COVID-19. In this context neither did Kosovo make exceptions. Initially, the curve of the infected was not too high even for a time compared to the countries in the region. But especially last week we had a huge increase in cases that, for KMDLN, are of great concern to both the infected and the victims.

Initially KMDLNj had demanded that, in certain circumstances, and in line with I recommendations KSHPK to ease, and in some cases to completely remove restrictive measures, both for citizens and businesses. KMDLNj had supported the government's measures for restricting freedom of movement, although it was certain that they are not constitutional, but between the right to life and freedom of movement, absolute priority has the right to life and, based on this principle, will support any government decision Hoti, which is aimed at protecting health and citizens' lives.

KMDLNj even calls on Prime Minister Hoti and Minister Zemaj to comply with the mandate they have and in co-operation with all responsible and competent factors to speed up making immediate decisions to protect citizens' health as long as we have increased cases.

KMDLNI invites opposition parties to co-operate with the government in trying to curb pandemic and leave political struggle for a time when we will return to normality or when the number of infected will be manageable. In the situation in which we are at war against the pandemic it cannot be only an address of responsibility will all be positioned, opposition and citizens who are not following the recommendations of competent institutions.
