The White House said its medical unit had begun tracking contacts Thursday. Among those who may have been exposed is the democratic candidate for president, Joe Biden, who stayed only a few metres from Trump for 90 minutes in a television debate.
Epidemologists have said that if Trump was tested positive Thursday morning, he could have been infected at the time, reports The Guardian, translates Periscope.
The two candidates did not hand in hand to each other according to Covid's rules, but most of the debate spoke to the president, sometimes with high volume, in the direction of Biden.
