The procedures could be decided to take place in private session. In this case, Specialised Chambers turn off the sound as the transmission follows.
The prosecution announced that 16 witnesses will be invited to this process against Mr. Mustafa.
Mustafa was arrested on September 24th in his home on the outskirts of Pristina after having been confirmed charges of alleged war crimes committed, including criminal acts such as arbitrary ban, cruel treatment, torture and unlawful murder. This arrest was the first since the establishment of Specialised Chambers and Specialised Prosecutor's Office known as the Special Court in 2015.
Former Kosovo Liberation Army chief Salih Mustafa, during his first appearance before the Specialised Chambers in The Hague on September 28th, had chosen not to be declared over charges of war crimes weighing on him.
Under the rules of the Specialised Chambers, Mustafa has the right to plead innocent or guilty in a period within 30 days on charges against him.
