Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, appointed on Monday Ana Brnabyqi mandated for forming Serbia's new government.
Vuciq said there have been several candidates, but Brnabyq, who has been Serbia's prime minister since 2017, “has worked in the interest of citizens, has been loyal to Serbia and has worked for the country's benefits”.
For Brnabyque “there is a very high opinion”, Vuciq said.
He said he has asked her to consider opening two new ministries, for human rights and gender equality, as well as for caring for family and children.
I also prayed for the mandate that, if possible, 50 percent or about 50 percent of the government members be women”, Vuciq said.
Ana Brnabiq has been Serbia's prime minister from 29 June, 2017.
Parliamentary elections in Serbia are held on 21 June.
The 3% voter threshold has passed seven lists, out of which four are minority.
Most have won the election list “Alexander Vuciq for our children”, with 1,953,998 votes, or 60.65% of them.
