That is after Rama has launched a legal path against Haradinaj.
Through an indictment sent yesterday by Edi Rama to the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Haradinaj is reportedly accused of slandering his counterpart from Albania, so as a result, Rama has also sought compensation for the damage.
According to the indictment, Haradinaj in several television debates had named Edi Rama, as traitors and making her a supporter of the idea of exchanging Kosovo-Serbia territories.
It seems that Eddie Rama did not like it, since yesterday the same is responsible to file charges against these statements.
Also, in the indictment, Kosovo's prime minister is the author and public spread of accusations of concrete facts, which repeatedly and indirectly have created the false idea in public.
On the basis of the Kosovo slander and insult law, the burden of evidence to testify exists in the plaintiff, where Edi Rama is in that case obliged to send evidence to court that Haradinaj has slandered or not towards Rama.
Law Agreementr Anton Ndocaj tells IndexOnline that to argue his indictment, Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, should submit evidence on the charges to the tribunal.
“The law envisions, the actions of the person who accuses another person of slander, he must argue the burden of evidence, as I have seen that the main essence of the indictment is Ramush's charge that Eddi Rama made of that portion of the territory, to argue with his indictment he must offer evidence to the court, that he is not the traitor, as Haradinaj<1> said.
But if the court through its decision, based on arguments sent by the plaintiffs, proves the same charges are true and stand, Haradinaj could be fined or up to three years in prison.
Lawyer Ndecaj says, on the contrary, if the court proves that the charges on Haradinaj are inexplicable or untrue, then Haradinaj opens the streets to sue his counterpart, Edi Rama, for the damage to the image.
“If it proves Rama's indictment is argued and stands, Haradinaj could be sentenced to 3 years in prison, or even with fines or cash, only he does not know the measure. But if those of which Edi Rama has indicted Ramush Haradinaj, result in untruth, then the matter falls down, and Haradinaj opened the streets to indict Edi Rama for damaging her image”, Rudcaj said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, yesterday through a script at <x0facebook”, he retorted Rama, telling him this indictment is unfounded and that he is willing to come up with an answer in the indictment.
