Today marks the 21st anniversary of Dr. Lec Gradica.

Dr. Leci was among the first doctors to join the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army, giving full meaning to his cloaked profession and serving his professionalism even when the KLA acted illegally.

His engagement in support of the KLA was the motive for freedom fighters, but it also gave them courage and paved the way for engagement on the fronts of many doctors, intellectuals and other health workers.

He heroicly fell on the altar of freedom and eternity, at the top of human and patriotic duty, healing the wounds of warriors and population in the mountains of Qyqavica.

His work will remain eternal and the best example for future generations on how to contribute to the good of the land.
